Reconcile a Statement Line that Doesn’t Quite Match a Transaction

You can reconcile a bank statement that does not quite match a transaction in Clickentry. This mismatch may be due to a bank fee or small rounding error.

Add a Bank Fee Adjustment When Reconciling

In case a statement line includes a fee, for example cash handling then you can add a bank fee adjustment while you are reconciling.

  1. In the Accounts menu, select the Bank accounts
  1. Click on the Reconcile xx items link for the bank account you want to reconcile.
  1. Click on the Find & Match link for the bank statement line that includes a bank fee.
  1. Select the checkbox next to the transaction you want to match.
  1. Click on the Adjustment dropdown button and select the Bank Fee option.

Add a Minor Reconciliation Adjustment
