You can create a credit note to make a correction to an awaiting invoice.
You need to approve the credit note so that it can be allocated to the required invoice.
How it works
When you need to make a correction to an invoice that you have sent then you can issue a credit note. It will leave an audit trail for you and your customers.
When you are crediting to an awaiting payment invoice, make sure it’s in the same currency as the credit note.
You must have the role from the following:
Adviser
Standard
Invoice only
Approve & pay
Invoice only
Sales only
You can see the changes made to a credit note in the History & Notes section. The changes will reflect once the credit note is saved.
