Archive or Restore Contacts

You can archive a contact in Clickentry and restore it when required.  

What you should Know 

  • Clickentry does not allow you to delete a contact. You can archive them if you no longer do business with them. 
  • In Clickentry’s reports, you can view archived contacts, including their transactions. If there are transactions (Outstanding invoices or bills) created for the contact, they won’t be deleted.  
  • You have to restore each archived contact individually as Clickentry doesn’t allow you to restore them in bulk. 

Archive a Contact 

  1. In the Contact menu, select Contacts Summary
  1. Select the checkbox next to the contact name you want to archive. 
  1. Click on the Options drop down button and select the Archive Contact option. 
  1. Click Ok to confirm. 

Restore a Contact you’ve Archived 

  1. In the Contact menu, select Contacts Summary
  1. Click on the arrow next to View: All and select the Archived option. 
  1. Find the contact you want to Restore. 
  1. Click on the Contact’s name to open their details. 
  1. Click on the Restore button.
