Edit, Delete or Archive a Bank Account
You can delete a bank account only If there is no transaction or statement associated with it. Otherwise, you can archive the account
Edit a Bank Account
You can edit a bank account to update the account details.
- In the Account menu, select Bank Accounts.
- Go to the Bank Account you want to edit.
- Click on the Edit Account button next to the Manage Account button.
- Edit the details as needed.
- Click Save.
Delete an Account
You can delete an account only if you have no transactions or statement associated with it in Clickentry.
- In the Account menu, select Bank Accounts.
- Go to the Bank Account you want to delete.
- Click on the Delete button next to the Edit Account button.
- Click Ok.
Archive an Account
If you have any statement or transactions associated with the account in the Clickentry then you can only archive the account. All the transactions or statements from archived accounts will be appearing in reports, but the account will no longer available. If you want to use the archived account later then you can restore it later.
- In the Account menu, select Bank Accounts.
- Go to the Bank Account you want to archive.
- Click on Archive the button next to the Delete button.
- Click Ok.
Restore an Archived Account
If you want to use an account that you had archived in the past, you can restore it in Clickentry.
- In the Account menu, select Bank Accounts.
- Click on the Show Archive Account Button.
- Go to the Bank Account you want to archive.
- Click on the UnArchive button.
- Click Ok to confirm.
